Amsonia tabernaemontana / Blue Star 'Blue Ice'

Ice blue flowers emerge from this stunning native perennial in late spring when few other perennials are in bloom. Bluestar is prized for being very low maintenance and low growing (1-2 ft). It also turns a golden-yellow color in the fall, giving it multiple seasons of interest. Grows best in average soil and full sun to part shade, though too much shade can cause floppiness.
