Arisaema dracontium / Green Dragon

Closely related to the well-known jack-in-the-pulpit, Green Dragon is a species that lives up to its name. Leaves fan out in spring and are accompanied by a bizarre, green flower. This uncommon spring ephemeral goes dormant in the summer, so it's wise to plant it with ferns or other species that will fill in the space after it completes flowering.
