Couldn't load pickup availability
Baccharis halimifolia, also called Sea Myrtle or Groundseltree, is a deciduous shrub with attractive foliage that can grow up to heights of 10 feet tall. It is a dioecious species, meaning there are male and female Baccharis, both of which bloom in the early Autumn. The female Groundseltree produces cottony achenes that look like small white feathery paintbrushes, making it a desirable native landscaping shrub. Baccharis halimifolia is especially tolerant of salt spray and both fresh and brackish marsh environments, and is used for soil bioengineering purposes as a tidal shoreline stabilization plant. Plant in sandy wet soils in part shade.
