Carex lurida / Sallow Sedge
Couldn't load pickup availability
Many of our native wetland sedges are important host plants for a variety of skippers and moths, and Sallow sedge is no exception. Shallow sedge, unlike many other wetland sedges, stays upright and green throughout the summer heat, and produces charismatic spiky seedheads. Stays low at around 2 feet tall, and grows best in full sun to part shade with medium to wet soil.
