Malus domestica / Apple 'Goldrush'

'Goldrush’  is a golden apple that tastes delicious right into May in a root cellar. The creamy-white, juicy flesh has a chewy skin. The flavor is great for hard ciders.

Apples are probably the most common fruit grown in our area, for good reason: Beautiful flowers that feed beneficial insects early in the season, many varieties of delicious fruits, potential for making vinegar and hard cider.
