Couldn't load pickup availability
Ginseng has been used widely in traditional medicine in several cultures, as multiple ginseng species are found throughout the Northern hemisphere. In fact, many countries have faced issues with over harvesting from people collecting ginseng in the wild. For example, our native ginseng, Panax quinquefolius, is protected by law from overharvesting in several states. This woodland plant prefers some shade and moist, rich soil. A cluster of white, delicate flowers emerge in early summer and precede vibrant red berries.
