Pyrus communis / 'Seckel' pear
Couldn't load pickup availability
Seckel pears are small but packed with sweetness. The variety is believed to originate in Pennsylvania. Plant with another European pear to achieve pollination and get fruit. We’ve noticed the skin of pear fruit is a little tougher and more likely to resist pests like the plum curculio. Pear trees like to grow tall and upright (around 25 feet) with branches reaching for the sky, until they bear fruit when they start to spread out.
