Lycium barbarum / Goji Berry 'Phoenix Tears'

Goji berries are considered superfoods, with good reason. They are high in antioxidants and carotene, have all the essential amino acids and also contain many minerals. In their native range in China, they are eaten fresh or dried, where they make a delicious addition to granola, smoothies, and more. 'Phoenix Tears' is a delicious cultivar that can grow up a trellis or be trimmed as a 3-5 ft shrub. It is self-fertile as well.

Goji berries grow best in full sun and average, well-drained soil. Can tolerate a small amount of shade.
