Many people associate goldenrod with aggressive, spreading plants that are difficult to control. However, they are valuable to a huge array of pollinators. If you’d like to support pollinators but don’t want to plant an aggressive goldenrod, stiff goldenrod is a great choice! This clumping species grows 3 to 5 feet tall and produces larger flowers than most goldenrods.
