Waldsteinia fragaroides, the Barren strawberry, is a low-growing herbaceous perennial often used as groundcover in full sun to part-shade. Yellow flowers emerge from April-May and foliage is evergreen, but will bronze up in colder months. "Fruits" are inedible.
