Zingiber officinale / ‘White’ Ginger
Couldn't load pickup availability
Ginger is a versatile spice, with a distinct flavor that’s a must have for many dishes, both sweet and savory. Additionally, it is widely used by herbalists for supporting the body’s immunity and easing nausea. Though it grows in the tropics of Asia, it can be grown in our colder Northeast climate if given the right care. Many prefer to keep the plant in a pot, and keep it inside when the temperature drops in the fall. It produces long, narrow leaves that add a tropical flavor to the garden.
