Vaccinium corymbosum 'Legacy' / Highbush Blueberry

‘Legacy’ highbush blueberry produces a heavy crop of medium sized, sweet fruit in mid-summer. They are self pollinating, but produce higher yields when planted amongst multiple blueberry plants with similar flowering times. Growing 4-6’ tall and 3-4’ wide, this bushy, upright deciduous shrub thrives in full sun to part shade with average water needs in loamy, well drained acidic soil - in the ground or in a pot. Keep an eye out for small, pale pink bell shaped flowers in spring and striking red foliage in fall. Grows in zones 5-8. Prune in late winter.
