Allium schoenoprasum / Chives

Edible, purple, pompom flowers, bluish-green foliage with a sweet but mild onion flavor, easy to grow - you can’t go wrong with chives in the edible landscape! Grows best in full sun and most soils, given it’s not too wet or dry. Stays around a foot tall and blooms in the spring. Cutting back the foliage after flowering encourages a new batch of vigorous growth.
