Althaea officinales / Marshmallow

Functioning as both a beautiful ornamental and a useful medicinal plant, Marshmallow is great for the partly shaded sections of your garden. It grows small, mallow-like flowers that bloom in late summer. Reaching a height of 5-8’, Marshmallow is often used for hedgerows. Leaves, flowers, and roots are all used medicinally for a variety of ailments, soothing the lungs, digestive tract and bladder.
