    Hairy Wood Brome is a uniquely tall, shady woodland grass; producing a 12" base with up to 2-5' tall, arched inflorescence from July - August. This cool season grass grows in 2' clumps throughout medium - wet, rich woodlands and along ridges. Found in zone 3-9.
