Couldn't load pickup availability
Quercus (the genus name of Oaks) plus folia (as in foliage) are combined to make the species name of Hydrangea quercifolia - Oakleaf Hydrangea. This popular shrub does have oak-looking leaves which are almost just as attractive and interesting as the amazing flowers that bloom in late Spring and early Summer. Plant Oakleaf Hydrangea in full sun to part shade in rich, moist, well-draining soils. Benefits from mulch in the summer. Grows 4 to 8 feet tall, usually 6 feet, with a 6 to 8 foot spread. Hydrangea quercifolia is a “head turner”; prepare to have a popular yard!
