Juglans regia / English Walnut

When you think of the walnuts that you buy at the store, they usually come from the English Walnut tree. The delicious fruit can be eaten fresh or made into an oil. The medium sized tree strongly resembles black walnut but has larger, more tropical looking leaves. Although it self pollinates, it will bear more fruit if you plant a second tree. Our seedlings are sourced from the Carpathian Mountains and are very hardy to our northern climate. Starts fruiting in 5-7 years.
