Juniperus virginiana / Eastern Red Cedar

Juniperus virginiana is a widely adaptable Eastern North American native conifer that grows in both dry and moist conditions. Grows 30 to 65 feet tall with an 8 to 25 foot spread. Females produce a blue/green berry-like cone that’s attractive to birds. Evergreens provide winter cover for birds and picturesque winter scenery when the snow falls.
