Kalmia angustifolia / Sheep Laurel

While most gardeners know about our native Mountain Laurel, a stunning evergreen woodland shrub, Sheep Laurel is much less known. Also evergreen, it prefers part shade and moist, acidic soils. It's flowers are small but abundant with a knockout pink color. Once established, Sheep Laurel will spread by rhizomes and can fill out a large space over time.
