Levisticum officinale / Lovage
Couldn't load pickup availability
Lovage is an underrated vegetable with multiple uses. The foliage is reminiscent of celery and tastes like it, too, making it a good addition to soups and stews. The seeds can be harvested for seasoning and the stems and roots can be candied into a medicinal syrup. The second year plants are often dried and used for flavor. Plant Lovage in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil.
