Mentha arvensis / Wild Mint

Mentha arvensis is a wild mint that has circumboreal distribution, meaning it's native to temperate regions across the globe! It produces clusters of small, purple, tubular flowers along the stem, an arrangement that bees are very fond of. This variety loves moist soils and full sun to part shade. It will have its own unique flavor but the leaves can be used the same way as other mints, or can simply serve as a reminder to breathe when you walk through that area of your landscape!
