Penstemon pallidus / Pale Beardtongue
Couldn't load pickup availability
Beardtongues are one of the first prairie flowers to bloom in the summer, and Pale Beardtongue blooms even earlier than other beardtongues. The flowers are a favorite of long-tongued bees, who are limited in nectar sources during that time of year. As the name suggests, Pale Beardtongue produces pale, creamy flowers in early summer. Grows best in full sun to part shade with dry to medium soils.
