Rhus aromatica / Fragrant Sumac 'Gro-Low'

This native cultivar named 'Low-Gro' makes a gorgeous high ground cover, growing only a couple feet tall but spreading up to 6-8 feet around. It presents with gorgeous fall color ranging from yellow to red to red-purple, similar to other taller sumac trees, but it's uniquely shaped leaves have a citrus-like fragrance when crushed, making it a favorite landscaping shrub among native plant gardeners.
