Rudbeckia laciniata / Tall Coneflower or Cutleaf Coneflower, an herbaceous perennial native to eastern North America. “Tall” is being modest as this plant likes to grow 8 to 9 feet and taller, creating an abundance of biomass which can be mulched in place, protecting and building soil for next year's flowers, or added to compost piles. Flowers bloom July to September and provide food for honeybees, butterflies, and other important pollinators. They are easy to grow in full sun to part shade in average soil, and tolerate hot and humid conditions. Also deer resistant, although we’re always taking that claim with a grain of salt these days.For plant description and information click below:

Plant delivery is free within the City of Beacon. Deliveries outside the City of Beacon are by a $65/hour fee, which includes travel and placement of material.
