Vaccinium angustifolium / Lowbush Blueberry

If you’ve ever done much hiking in the Hudson Valley, you’ve probably found wild blueberries along lowland, moist woods. Now you can have them in your garden! Lowbush blueberry tends to grow around 2 feet high and some say the fruit is smaller and sweeter than highbush blueberry. Blueberries grow best in full sun to part shade with acidic, well drained soil.
