Vaccinium corymbosum / "Elizabeth" Highbush Blueberry
Couldn't load pickup availability
If you’ve ever done much hiking in the Hudson Valley, you’ve probably found wild blueberries along lowland, moist woods. Now you can have them in your garden! Highbush blueberry tends to grow 6 to 12 feet high and some say the fruit is larger and milder than lowbush blueberry. Blueberries grow best in full sun to part shade with acidic, well drained soil.
‘Elizabeth’ bears blueberries that are a good balance of sweet and tart. They also store well in refrigeration.
