The unique and tall flower spires of Veronicastrum virginicum are sure to draw the attention of both butterflies and humans who pass by. Shoots up stunning white to light blue flower stalks 4 to 7 feet tall in June to August. Plant in full sun to part shade, although the flower stalks will flop over if grown in too much shade. Prefers medium to moist soils.
