Viburnum lentago / Nannyberry

Nannyberry is a great shrub for filling a large space. Growing 14-16 feet, it will send out suckers, creating a mass that can function as a hedge. Tolerant of a wide range of soils, but grows best in average, well-draining soil with full sun to part shade. Striking, purplish-red foliage in the fall. Plant two for best fruit production, as the fruit is loved by birds.
